Red Cross EU Office Annual Report 2025
2025 was a year marked by growing pressure on humanitarian action, with funding constraints, increasing politicisation and evolving EU priorities shaping the landscape in which our members operate. Together, we worked to ensure that EU policies and programmes continue to place people at their centre, strengthening preparedness, safeguarding humanitarian space and promoting inclusive, needs-based approaches.
This annual report highlights how we engaged with EU institutions and partners throughout 2025 across key areas, including preparedness, migration, mental health, access to EU funding and humanitarian diplomacy, bringing the experience of our members to inform decision-making at European level.
