Head of International Development

The purpose of this position is to lead and direct the Development Unit in activities related to international development cooperation, including policy, advocacy, resource mobilisation, membership support and capacity building.

Administrative Assistant

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and technical support to the office, and in particular to the director and the management team. Among other tasks, this will involve managing the delivery of events held at the Red Cross EU Office, including high level meetings and events organised by European Red Cross National Societies.

Internships

In partnership with selected universities, the Red Cross EU Office runs an ongoing internship programme that provides students with practical work experience to support their future career development.

Getting involved 

There are many ways in which you can show your support to those in need, such as donating in cash and in kind, or volunteering and working for the Red Cross. We recommend that you seek information from the National Red Cross or Red Crescent Society in your country.

Internationally, all volunteering opportunities are managed by the National Red Cross or Red Crescent Society. If you are interested in volunteering, please check the IFRC website where contact details for each country can be found. For job opportunities, consult your National Red Cross Society job page, or the vacancies page on the website of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
